Measured On Site
Every unit is measured against the real opening, so it fits without packing strips and gaps.
Structural framing through to the finishing details that get noticed every day. Make better use of your space with doors, cupboards, shelving and timber repairs. We measure carefully and fit each piece to suit your home or business.

What We Do
Very few Cape Town properties have square walls and level floors, which is why off-the-shelf units so often end up packed out with filler strips. Carpentry that is measured and built for the actual opening avoids that entirely.
I.B.S Construction handles both structural and finishing carpentry: roof and framing work at one end, built-in cupboards, doors, decking and trim at the other. Everything is measured on site rather than assumed from a plan.

We work in solid timber and board materials depending on what the job needs and what your budget allows, and we will tell you where spending more is worth it and where it is not.

Our Approach

FAQs
It depends on the job. Some units are better built and finished off site then installed, others are built in place to work around out-of-square walls. We recommend whichever gives the better fit.
In most cases yes. We will look at the existing profile and finish and match it as closely as the available materials allow, and be upfront if an exact match is not realistic.
