Preparation Is The Job
Washing, scraping, filling and priming are where a paint finish is won or lost, and we do not skip them.
Interior repaints through to full exterior recoating. Freshen up your home or business with careful preparation and a clean, even finish. We handle the surfaces, edges and finishing details that help your paintwork last.

What We Do
Almost every paint job that fails early fails for the same reason: preparation. Coating over chalky, dirty or damp surfaces gives a good-looking week and a peeling year, particularly on exposed Cape Town elevations that take sun and wind all summer and rain all winter.
I.B.S Construction paints interiors and exteriors for homes and business premises. We wash down, scrape back, fill, seal and prime as the surface requires, then apply coats properly rather than stretching one thin coat over the job.

Cutting in, edges and clean lines are where painting is judged day to day, so that is where we spend the time.
What Is Included
Our Approach
Washing, scraping, filling and priming are where a paint finish is won or lost, and we do not skip them.
Exterior systems are chosen for sun and driving rain exposure rather than whatever is on special.
Edges, cutting in and daily clean-up are what you actually live with, so they get proper attention.

FAQs

Preparation is included and it is the part that determines how long the finish lasts. Washing, scraping, filling, sealing and priming are quoted as part of the work.
Not successfully until the cause is dealt with. We can treat and block stains, but if there is active damp we will identify it and recommend fixing that first, often waterproofing or plaster repair.
Yes. We can put sample patches on the actual wall so you see the colour in your own light before committing, which often changes the decision.
