Is stone cladding structural or decorative?
Cladding is decorative and fixed to a sound backing wall. We also build structural stone walls where that is what the project calls for. We will explain which suits your situation.
Can you match stone on an existing house?
Usually we can get very close by matching stone type, size and pointing style. Exact matches on weathered stone are difficult and we will be honest if a blend is the realistic outcome.
Does exterior stonework need sealing?
It depends on the stone and how exposed it is. Some stone is best left to weather naturally. We advise per project rather than sealing everything by default.
Can you repair a wall where stones have come loose?
Yes. We establish why they worked loose, movement, failed pointing or water, then re-bed and re-point so the repair holds rather than recurring.
